Tom Brady enjoys the holidays with his kids after Gisele Bundchen's Brazil trip

'Tom Brady enjoyed Christmas with his kids two days late after they spend the holiday in Brazil with their mother and the NFL star's ex-wife Gisele Bundchen.

Brady and Bundchen have two children together, 10-year-old Vivian and 13-year-old Benjamin. This is their first Christmas since the divorce.

The high-profile couple were married for 13 years before causing a shockwave in the gossip pages when they filed for divorce in October this year. Now all four are having to adapt to a new co-parenting model.

Evidently, this year it was Bundchen's turn to have the kids for Christmas Day and she chose to spend it back home with her family in Brazil. With Brady in action for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the 25th anyway, the arrangement seems to make sense.

Bundchen shared photos of herself and the children in Brazil enjoying horseriding, fishing, cycling, karaoke and more. Then, on December 27, it was Brady's turn with the kids.

The legendary quarterback shared photos of his Christmas celebrations on Instagram. Christmas tree, stockings on the all and festive socks for one and all.

A divorce is never easy for any family, but the positive news for this one is that the parents seem to be on good terms and no one is intent on making it harder than it needs to be. A source told PEOPLE that the children will always be able to see both parents.

"[The children will have] full access to both [parents], whenever they want," said a source close to the former couple.

"They've got a schedule, but neither of them would prevent their kids from seeing the other parent.

"That's not who either of them are."

Brady himself backed this up and says he is focused on being a good father. Speaking on his own show on Sirus XM, he shared that there is no animosity in the split.

"Obviously, the good news is it's a very amicable situation and I'm really focused on two things, taking care of my family and certainly my children," said Brady.
